Our character as a society will be judged by the way we treat the needs of the poor, frail and elderly who cannot provide for themselves.
The Hospice & Home Health Fund of Alabama (HHHFA) was qualified as a 501(c)(3) organization in 1990 with the support of Charles D. Beard, his wife, Mary Sue Beard, and John Beard, who served as President of Alacare Home Health & Hospice. The HHHFA was formed as a way to help patients using home health or hospice services who have monetary restrictions that may prohibit them from receiving care in their home.
The Fund is tax-exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Therefore, contributions to HHHFA are tax-deductible on federal and state income tax.
