Our character as a society will be judged by the way we treat the needs of the poor, frail and elderly who cannot provide for themselves.
The Hospice & Home Health Fund of Alabama (HHHFA) was qualified as a 501(c)(3) organization in 1990 with the support of Charles D. Beard, his wife, Mary Sue Beard, and John Beard, President of Alacare Home Health & Hospice. The HHHFA was formed as a way to help patients using home health or hospice services who have monetary restrictions that may prohibit them from receiving care in their home.

The Fund
is tax exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue
Code. Therefore, contributions to HHHFA are tax-deductible on federal and
state income tax.
